I help millennial women (re)establish healthy habits, feel better, and make changes that enable them to live a life they love! As a Health Coach with a background in psychology, I’m here to help you make the practical steps and mindset shifts necessary to move from where you are now to where you want to be.
My Story-
After graduating with my Master’s in Psychology and completing my Health Coach Training, I settled into my career in the behavioral health field. As my husband and I planned to start a family the next few years seemed clear. However, in 2020, as my son was born at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, things changed for me (as they did for many) almost over night. The plan I had for the next few years went out the window and that year I became a parent, left a job I loved, and moved out of the home we purchased just a couple of years prior. Many of the health habits I had developed in the years prior went out the window as everything else shifted in my life.
After having my second child I found myself feeling exhausted and depleted. I knew I had to get back to feeling strong and healthy again but it honestly felt like I was starting from scratch instead of “getting back on track”. Gradually, I leaned on my understanding of psychology and and holistic nutrition from to become a healthier more vibrant version of myself.
The best part is, through beginning to prioritize my health and self-care again, I ultimately opened a brand new life chapter and started a career (this one!) that felt more aligned with my true desires and priorities. Through this personal transformation, I realized how many unique factors millennial women are facing in this phase of life. Whether you’re working on your career, raising a family, or both there’s A LOT going on. Prioritizing our health and wellness is just one of the many things on our plate, but it is crucial to being able to accomplish everything else we want to do!
My Approach to Coaching-
I believe in a holistic approach to coaching. One that considers all of the dynamic factors impacting my clients . We start by getting CLEAR on where you are, where you want to be, and what’s working (and not working) in your life. From there, we focus on uncovering any barriers- whether limiting beliefs, unhelpful mindsets, or external challenges- that are holding you back from living the life you desire. We’ll identify practical steps, resources, and mindset shifts necessary and developing the tools and habits that will support you in getting healthier and feeling better.
