Bacon Broccoli Quiche

This recipe is super easy with only a handful of ingredients and just a few minutes of effort- the oven does the rest. It’s perfect to make in advance for weekday breakfasts or lunches or to take with you to a brunch get together with friends!

Ingredients:

1 pie crust, frozen (I like whole wheat)

6 eggs

1/4 cup whole milk

1 cup broccoli, chopped into small pieces

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mix that includes cheddar), plus more for sprinkling on top

3 slices cooked bacon, chopped into small piences

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp black pepper

1/8 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Place empty pie crust in oven for 10 minutes

  3. While pie crust cooks, whisk eggs in a mixing bowl

  4. Add milk, broccoli, cheese, bacon, salt, pepper, and garlic pepper and mix until combined

  5. Fill pie crust with egg mixture and top with more shredded cheese

  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes

  7. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving
