Let me tell you about the wellness product SO GOOD that we built a room in our house for it (yes, really)! If you're on a quest for that perfect blend of relaxation, healing, and rejuvenation.. I’ve found it.

A couple of years ago I went to a local wellness center that had something called a Vibroacoustic Biomat. At the time, I was an exhausted mom with a baby and a 2 year old at home and I was craving EASY self-care solutions that would quickly help me feel relax and refreshed. The big appeal? I just had to go lay down for 30-60 minutes. I was sold.

I went to the wellness center with a good friend. We entered a room where they had two massage tables set up. On top of each were the Vibroacoustic Biomats. We did a 30 minute session and I felt all of the tension in my body melt away. Over the next several months I went back a few times and would come home and tell my husband how incredible these products were. Eventually, I took him on a day date for a Vibroacoustic Biomat session and some brunch. When we got back to our my husband said, “we’re buying one of those”. A year later we did just that.

What’s a BioMat?

So, what exactly is a BioMat? It’s a high-tech mat that combines infrared heat, negative ions, and amethyst and tourmaline crystals to create a therapeutic experience.

  1. Infrared Heat Therapy: The BioMat uses far infrared rays (FIR) to penetrate deep into the body, warming up the muscles and tissues from the inside out. FIR reaches deeper layers to help ease tension and improve circulation.

  2. Negative Ions: Negative ions are molecules found in abundance in certain environments in nature, such as waterfalls and beaches. They’re believed to help improve mood and boost overall energy. When you lie on a BioMat, you’re enveloped in a wave of these beneficial ions.

  3. Amethyst and Tourmaline Crystals: Embedded within the BioMat, these crystals are thought to have natural healing properties.

What’s a Vibroacoustic Mat?

The Vibroacoustic mat (which I use layered under the Biomat) focuses on the power of sound and frequency to bring balance to your body and mind. It has four settings to choose from- Sleep, Relax, Stress Relief, and Energize with customizable volume and intensity controls. Each setting syncs vibration and sound to elicit the desired effects. Here’s how it works:

  1. Sound Therapy: The Bioacoustics Mat uses specific sound frequencies to help align and harmonize your body’s energy systems. It’s like having your personal sound bath, designed to help reduce stress and promote mental clarity.

  2. Vibration Therapy: Deep massage by sending vibrations produced by music throughout the body.

What are the benefits?

The benefits of these products are pretty remarkable. They include:

  • Pain Relief

  • Improved Sleep

  • Increased Circulation

  • Stress Reduction

  • Increased Energy

  • Cellular Cleansing

  • Increases flexibility

My Experience:

For me, owning these products has been a GAME CHANGER. Within 30 minutes I feel calmer, more relaxed, less tense, more clear-headed, and my nervous system feels regulated. I’ve also noticed improved sleep and more stable energy throughout the day.

Now, back to the building a room in our house part. When we were finishing our basement we planned to build a walk in closet in one area to utilize square footage that otherwise would have been left unfinished. When we decided to purchase a Biomat it seemed like the perfect place for it so that it could be set up and ready at all times. We purchased this massage table and set up the Vibroacoustic mat with the Biomat on top. However, you certainly do not need an extra room in your home to own a Biomat. In fact, they can easily be used on the floor or on bed or sofa!

Ready to try these mats for yourself? Whether you’re interested in the warmth and healing properties of the BioMat or the sound-based relaxation of the Bioacoustics Mat, there are plenty of options available:
